INDISPENSABLE SPIRIT

Key point:  If there is one personality that you can ignore, it’s definitely not the Holy Spirit.

To maximize the blessings from your relationship with the Godhead, you need to know the different dispensations and how to key into them. The Old Testament was the dispensation of God the Father, the Millennial reign is the dispensation of God the Son, while the present dispensation is that of the Holy Spirit Conventional wisdom dictates that for you to curry favour with those in government during a particular regime, you must understand their nature, idiosyncrasies and ideology so as to deal with them with wisdom. Psalm 112:5 says,

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

Similarly, since the Holy Spirit is presently the One in government, you* must understand His personality and rightly align yourself with His expectations in order to be relevant in this dispensation- Do you know the Holy Spirit? How are you relating with Him?

Acts 2:1 -4 introduces the advent of the Holy Spirit- Who is this Holy Spirit? He is the third Person of the Trinity. In the benediction, beside the grace of Jesus, the love of the Father, we also have the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14). Every believer today must fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It is not optional but mandatory for every born-again Christian. If you want to be irrelevant in God's kingdom, ignore the Holy Spirit. But if you want to become a mighty tool in God's hands in this Last Days, have a close walk with the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ came as Comforter and comforted His disciples for y/i years after which He left the Holy Spirit to comfort them for the rest of their lives. No wonder John 14:16 call Him another Comforter. This simply means that a believer who goes through life without the comfort of the Holy Spirit, will most likely shipwreck his or her faith. While Jesus was on earth, people waited for hours and days to receive comfort. Today, you do not need to wait until the Lord physically pays you a visit; the Holy Spirit is always with you and can comfort you anytime. How much of His friendship are you cultivating?
